The only trailer I saw is just one with the bat there, and you can hear the joker. A bit disappointing if you ask me, lame trailer.
Is there another one or is that what you're talking about? |

Friends, if you saw I Am Legend in the IMAX, you would have seen the first six minutes of the movie.
Please don't watch the crappy, shaky version someone recorded on a handheld in the theater. If you look for it, it's probably all taken down anyway. I've seen that too, and if you do I have to tell you that's not The Joker laughing every time someone gets shot in the head, it's the audience. Weird.
After that there was a short series of clips that make a sort of okay trailer. But the trailer you want to watch is this:

But the six minute thing is definitely the best. You're not going to mind watching it again in July, seriously. After it was over some guy in the theater said "That's what *I'm* talking about, screw the last man on earth," and everyone laughed, because it was true.
Showing the beginning scene of the film was a good move by Nolan and Co. It isn't like Snyder's desperate plea for approval in showing fans pieces of set he built in the first week of shooting WATCHMEN. It's more like, if you're watching a trailer, or looking at a picture, you can pick it apart and say exactly how you think The Jokers hair should look or laugh should sound. But if you're watching this tightly directed story unfold, you realize you're willing to see *their* take on him, and you'll shut up and like it. |
